Field trip instructions
How to Bridge
Minting an Unstable happens on Stable blockchain, and everything there runs on USDT0 — a dollar token that pays for both mint and gas. Moving money in takes about two minutes. Here is the whole trip.

Bring to class
- An EVM wallet — MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom, any of them
- Funds on any major chain: ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, whatever you hold
- Two minutes. Genuinely.
Step 01
Open the bridge
Head to Relay's Stable bridge. Relay is the crosschain routing engine used by MetaMask, Phantom and OpenSea — it connects 85+ chains, so whatever chain your funds live on, it can almost certainly reach the board.
The link opens with the destination already locked to USDT0 on Stable.

Connect your wallet
Hit Connect Wallet and approve in MetaMask, Rabby, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet or whatever you carry. Relay never takes custody — every movement is a transaction you sign yourself.
Use the same wallet you plan to mint with, so the funds land where the chalk expects them.
Step 03
Choose what you pay with
In the Sell box, pick your source chain and token: ETH on mainnet, Base or Arbitrum, USDT or USDC on almost anything, SOL — Relay quotes them all. The Buy box stays fixed on USDT0 on Stable.
USDT0 is Stable's native token. One USDT0 is one dollar, and it pays for both the mint and gas.
Step 04
Enter the amount
Type how much you want to move. Relay shows the exact USDT0 you will receive, with fees already baked into the quote. Bridge enough for your mints plus a little headroom — gas on Stable costs fractions of a cent.
The quote refreshes live; what you see in the Buy box is what arrives.
Step 05
Confirm and blink
Approve the transaction in your wallet. Relay's relayers front the funds on Stable immediately instead of waiting for slow cross-chain finality, so the bridge usually completes in seconds.
No claim step, no second transaction on arrival. It just lands.
Step 06
See it in your wallet
Add the Stable network to your wallet with the button below, and your USDT0 balance appears as the native balance. You can double-check any transaction on the explorer at stablescan.xyz.
That is it. You are on the board and ready for mint day.

Questions from the back of the class
How long does it take?
Usually seconds. Relay uses an intent system where professional relayers front your funds on Stable and settle the cross-chain part behind the scenes, so you never wait for finality.
What does it cost?
Gas on your source chain plus a small relayer fee that is already included in the quote you see. There are no surprise fees on arrival, and gas on Stable itself is negligible.
How much should I bridge?
Enough to cover the mints you plan plus a small buffer for gas. Since USDT0 is a dollar-pegged token, what you bridge is what you can spend.
Is Relay safe?
Relay is the bridging infrastructure behind wallets and marketplaces like MetaMask, Phantom and OpenSea, moving funds across 85+ chains. You sign every transaction yourself and custody never leaves your wallet.
My funds have not arrived?
Check the transaction on your source chain first, then look up your address on stablescan.xyz. Relay has live support in the widget on their site if something looks stuck.
Funds on the board? Two doors left to open.
